This must be the quietest hotel in Paris, which if like me you live in the countryside is a BIG plus point. It is on a narrow sideroad between two other sideroads and round the back is even quieter.

Staff are all friendly unlike so many other hotels nowadays where it seems customers are an inconvenience to them. Phone was not the usual ripoff either and there is free Wi-fi in the bar.

The Seine, Eiffel Tower, Pont d’Alma, Invalides and suchlike are all 5 minutes walk so unless you need to be next door to the major shops this is the place to go.

The rooms aren’t big, even the Superior one we had, but they are more than adequate and were clean and well presented. Unusually for a 3* hotel they provided bathrobes which was much appreciated.

Only negative point is the cost of the breakfast which was expensive for what it was so we didn’t usually take it. There are lots of places nearby to get something better for half the price so use these. Personally I would advise the hotel to not bother providing breakfasts if it would save them costs.

BTW, although on a minor side street the traditional French restaurant on the opposite side about 100metres north is excellent so it saves a walk if you are tired after a day out...
