Metro, RER, bus, tram

Some tips about the metro, RER, bus and tram in Paris.

Paris Visite card
It is a card that may make it cheaper to take public transport during your stay in Paris.
Paris Visite lasts 1, 2, 3 or 5 consecutive days, and covers transport in the Paris area in zones 1 to 3, 1 to 5 or 1 to 8 (be sure to chose the right number of days and the right zones). All of central Paris is in zones 1 & 2, but if you want to go to Versailles (zone 4), Disneyland (zone 5) or the Charles de Gaulle airport (zone 5) for example, it may come in handy.
The card allows you, within the zones chosen, to take any metro, RER, bus, tram, SNCF suburb train or nightbus, as well as the funicular in Montmartre. It also can give reduced entrance rates or other advantages at some Paris museums.
