René Lalique (1860-1945) was not only a jeweller. He created some wonderful objects and was at the forefront of the Art Nouveau movement in France. This exhibition at the Musée du Luxembourg displays some of the best of his creations, along with those of his contemporaries. The delicate jewel-encrusted pendants, bracelets, glassware and other objects experiment with methods and materials and play with artistic and literary themes.
