Despite the mixed weather, our bees have managed to find enough nectar and pollen to make their honey. And as the flowers were out early this year, we’ll be harvesting the honey earlier than usual too, at the beginning of September.
Afterwards, the bees will be leaving for a well-deserved rest at Villebon sur Yvette, about 26km south of Paris.
You’ll be able to see the photos of the honey harvest on the blog in a few weeks’ time.
