Few of Paris’ parks are open at night. The Parc de le Villette is an exception, and we happened to be there just a couple of nights ago to take a couple of photos for you…

Actually, we had just left the Zénith, a huge concert venue situated in the park (ever heard of Portishead? They were great!). With park security nearby (obviously, don’t walk around any dark area in a city without taking minimum precautions) we took a couple of shots of the Parc, as it is transformed at night. Different areas are lit in different ways, and the long walk along the canal is both charming and impressive.

We’ve mentioned la Villette before (like here and here) for the various exhibitions that are put on there, but it’s not all just culture and science; if you are looking for a place to play frisbee in the daytime, or a calm techno landscape at night, check out the Parc…
