For its tenth year, this enormous three-day festival of rock and electronic music has pulled out all the stops. If you’re a music-lover in Paris between the 4th and 6th June 2008, you know where to go…



In the Bois de Boulogne is the Longchamps racecourse, and that’s where Solidays will be happening. Not only does the festival have a huge number of groups and DJs, but the whole things is really cheap (especially if you buy a pass for more than one day) and for a good cause: AIDS. Here’s a taste of what’s on offer…

Here’s all the essential information for the 2008 Solidays Festival in Paris

When: 4th, 5th & 6th July 2008
Where: Paris Longchamps, Bois de Boulogne
Opening hours: Friday 3pm – 5am, Saturday 1pm – 5am, Sunday 1- 11pm
Admission: 1-day pass 25 euros, 2-day pass 35 euros, 3-day pass 45 euros
How to get there: métro Boulogne Jean Jaurès (line 10) is 500 metres from the event. Free shuttle buses also go from métro Porte Maillot (line 1, RER line C), leaving from the 244 bus stop
