The Jazz Century, an exhibition at the Musée Quai Branly
Paris has a strong historical link with jazz (especially the Left Bank, I would be tempted to say). One of the most important styles of music of the 20th Century, the exhibition shows how it started in the USA and developed through Europe and France in the 30s and 40s. Also, the links between jazz and the graphic arts are explored…

Large Kandinsky exhibition at the Pompidou Centre
Vassily Kandinsky was born in Moscow in 1866 and died a French citizen just outside Paris in Neuilly-sur Seine in 1944. This latest exhibition, organised in conjunction with the Städtische Galerie in Lenbachhaus in Munich and the New York Guggenheim, show over a hundred paintings, with his Impressions and Improvisations period particularly represented.

Importante Exposition Kandinsky au Centre Pompidou
Vassily Kandinsky est né à Moscou en 1866 et mort citoyen français à Neuilly-sur Seine en 1944. La Foire du Trône – a giant funfair in Paris from 4th April – 1st June 2009
Sick of Disneyland? Let’s just say that we were never huge fans, especially as it takes 45 minutes to get there before you start queuing, and queuing, and queuing… Luckily, each Spring Paris hosts the Foire du Trône, an old school funfair with a load of old school fun!… Big fun! Did I mention the fun?!
