All the artists in this collective exhibition (save one) are showing their work in France for the first time ever. Paintings, drawings and collages full of colour…

Brendan Cass - Kopavogur
Afer an initial show at the Zürcher Studio in New York this summer, Wild Feature 2 at the Galerie Zürcher is the Parisian version of a collective exhibition showcasing the work of youg American artists who all share a « fauve attitude » influenced by he 21st century.
For example, the disquieting scenes of James B. Franklin, the bright landscapes of Brendan Cass (above), the almost surrealist approach of Melissa Brown or the childlike style of Misaki Kawai…

James B. Franklin - Maladies of Influence

Melissa Brown - Zero Dollar

Misaki Kawai
Other artists draw/paint less and construct more (still with the same influences), like Taylor McKimens, John Hodany and Jesse A. Greenberg…

Taylor McKimens - Sorry Truck 5

John Hodany - Echoe Location

Jesse A. Greenberg - Invitational Booth 1
The exhibition is curated by one of its artists, Brian Belott, the only one of the group to have already shown his work in France already (at the Contemporary Drawing Fair this year). We think the fresh and colourful work of these very different artists is intriguing. Perhaps you should check it out?
