The Fêtart association that organises our annual photo exhibition, is constantly trying to promote the work of its members. Their latest interesting idea? Give people the chance to buy a smart limited edition photo by a young photographer at a reasonable price. They call it La Collection, and after a first run with a photo by Marc Thirouin, it’s now the turn of Guillaume Amat‘s beautiful work…

If you like photography but always though it was too expensive to buy, La Collection from Fêtart is for you.

From time to time, they select a stunning photo from one of the photographers in their group, and make a beautiful print available as a limited edition (75 copies only), numbered, framed and signed by the artist. The photographer waives any fees, as do the lab and other partners involved. All the money raised goes to help Fêtart continue to help young photographers.

Guillaume Amat was born in 1980, and participated in our photo project in February of this year (you can see his photo here). His « Nébuleuses » series from 2007 show the vestiges of the Second World War, bunkers, seemingly washed up or shipwrecked in the sand, like stone phantoms. To see the whole series, click here.
