The Image Factory, an exhibition at the Musée Quai Branly from 16th February – 11th July 2010
With the museum’s third, extensive exhibition about anthropology, you’ll learn about the ‘image factory’ that involves all five continents.
With over 160 pieces on display, you’ll learn to understand what is not immediately evident in an image, thanks to a study of some of humanity’s most important art and objects.

Exposition La fabrique des images au Musée Quai Branly du 16 février au 11 juillet 2010
La troisième grande exposition d’anthropologie du musée propose au public de découvrir une « fabrique des images » qui touche les cinq continents.
Pour ce faire, en 160 œuvres ou objets, elle donne à voir ce qui ne se voit pas d’emblée dans une image, à travers un décryptage des grandes productions artistiques et matérielles de l’Humanité.

Exhibition Izis, Paris of Dreams, at Hôtel de Ville

Unjustly forgotten (despite being in the same class as Robert Doisneau, Willy Ronis, Cartier-Bresson and Brassaï), the photographer Izis – Israëlis Bidermanas – who dies in Paris in 1980 deserves to be rediscovered. The free exhibition at Hôtel de Ville is the perfect opportunity…
