Thursday is the new Saturday at Daniel Rose’s
Spring Boutique

Our favourite things

We instantly like the Spring Boutique during our visit mid-December 2009, and the place is starting to take off. Now they’re starting a low cost, weekly wine-tasting session that may turn out to be essential. :-)

Daniel Rose and his wine director Joshua B. Adler certainly keep busy. Although the new restaurant still isn’t ready (still!), the boutique has a few activities coming up that could help the wait to feel less long. For example, their new wine-tasting and nibbles event every Thursday, or ‘Little Saturday’ as they’re calling it for a reason unexplained. Perhaps because all the best parties are on a Thursday?

For 5€ you can try a selection of wines « and enough to eat so you don’t pass out » (or so says their blog). The fun starts at 5pm, and the fun stops at 9pm, every Thursday.

Otherwise, if you are in Paris this weekend (Saturday 6th February), from 11.30am – 8pm de 11h30 à 20h you can taste – for free! -  the organic jams and chutneys made by Voyage en Saveurs, an independent producer based in Toulouse. The Boutique will be matching the various spreads with their own cheeses, and a limited edition roast chicken and chutney sandwich will be on sale. Sounds yumsome!

Spring Boutique est here.

Little Saturday is every Thursday from 5pm – 9pm. 5€

Voyage en Saveurs product tasting 6th February 2010 from 11.30am – 8pm. Free.
