It’s a surprising place on one of Paris’ most prestigious squares. Why is it surprising? Because the interior is mostly made up of rooms that were dismantled from some of Victor Hugo’s other houses and rebuilt here. Plus, Hugo himself did the interior design! Come take a look!

C’est une maison surprenante sur une des plus prestigieuses places de Paris. Mais pourquoi surprenant ? Parce l’intérieur est surtout une reconstitution de pièces d’autres maisons de Victor Hugo, et c’est lui qui a tout dessiné. Venez voir !

Work on our luxury hotel continues, and the more we advance, the clearer things get. If the décor of the place was defined pretty precisely quite a while ago, we have Corinne Moncelli and Anne Gelbard to thank, and the first pieces of the puzzle are starting to arrive!
We dropped in on Anne at her workshop not far from Bastille, not only to see what she is preparing for La Belle Juliette, but also to nose round her inspiring workspace…

Les travaux sur notre nouvel hôtel **** continuent, et les choses se précisent de plus en plus. Si la déco a été décidée depuis un moment, c’est grâce à Corinne Moncelli et Anne Gelbard, et les première pièces commencent à arriver !
Nous sommes allés voir Anne dans son atelier non loin de Bastille pour voir ce qu’elle prépare pour La Belle Juliette et fouiller un peu partout dans son joyeux bazaar…
