Unmissable fun for some, hellish stupidity for others… try going down (or rather ‘up’) to Montmartre to rub shoulders with the 500,000 other people in attendance and form your own opinion…

It’s the 77th edition of one of the most popular post-summer events. This year it going to be ‘funny’ too, with comedy shows and a famous sponsor in the form of Gérard Jugnot (a star in France, probably unheard of where you come from). Expect theatre, concerts, cooking lessons, themed walks, the giant parade…

With all the madness going on, let’s not forget that the sale of Montmartre wine helps benefit the associations of the area, aiding them to aid others.
The Fête des Vendanges 2010 is all around Montmartre from 6th – 10th October 2010.
