Chassés Croisés, an exhibition by Olivier Larivière
from 10th September – 9th October 2010
at the Galerie Talmart
Chassée Croisées means (more or less) « continuous comings and goings », and it’s the name of the latest exhibition by an artist who used to be a member of the team at the Jardin de l’Odéon…
You’ll love it or you’ll hate it: Olivier’s work is like some sort of odd dream with slightly dark touches, unsettling (but important) details, like a puzzle to be resolved. What has happened here? What’s going on?
If David Lynch did paintings with Edward Hopper, they might look like this! But nothing in the painting is just added by chance, everything has a meaning. Go find it!
The exhibition « Chassés Croisés » by Olivier Larivière is at the Galerie Talmart (here) from 10th September - 9th October 2010. Open every day except Sunday from 11am – 1pm and 2pm – 7pm. Free!
