If you don’t know the story of how Vuitton was founded, how Louis himself walked 400 kilometres to get to the capital in 1835, and how the company eventually became the number one luxury group in the world, it’s time to learn it all at the Musée Carnavalet.

You’ll also be able to see a selection of the company’s wares and learn a little about their very particular manufacturing methods.

And if you want to prolong the cultural experience, hop off to the Espace Vuitton on the 7th floor of their Champs Elysées store, where a new exhibution about Peter Pan starts 10th September 2010 (and runs until 11th January 2011), with thirteen modern artists giving their take on the timeless/ageless character.
