Nuit Blanche all night arts event all over town on 2nd October 2010
Art and Culture, Our favourite things
Divided into three main zones – East, West and Centre – the Nuit Blanche (White Night) means staying up late, getting some culture and exploring Paris. This year there are some great-sounding events and installations, but non-French speakers are out of luck for the moment; the English-language part of the official site isn’t yet online. Anyway, this little film with images from last year’s event should give you an idea of what to expect.

Art et Culture, Coups de coeur
Divisé en trois zones principales – Est, Ouest et Centre – la Nuit Blanche est le moment de présenter de l’art contemporain éphémère accessible à tous, dans des lieux insolites. Cette année les projets ont été choisis par Martin Bethenot, ancien Commissaire Général de la FIAC et même rédac chef de Vogue il y a dix ans !

For the extra special VIP opening soirée for our photo exhibition at the Théâtre de l’Odéon (which continues until Sunday 18th September), we set un a minin photo studio on the first floor so that guests could take their own picture. And a lot of them did… in all sorts of poses…!
Les autoportraits des invités de PHPA 2010 !
Pour le vernissage VIP de notre expo photo au Théâtre de l’Odéon (qui continue jusqu’au 19 septembre), nous avons construit un mini studio photo au 1er étage pour que les invités se prennent en photo. Beaucoup se sont prêtés au jeu !

If you weren’t among us for the grand openings of the exhibition, don’t worry; Julien Taylor wen through the crowd snapping people non-stop so you can get a taste of the ambience (and slightly shocked looks) that were on offer…
