The revolutionary photographic eye of Diane Arbus comes to the Jeu de Paume, her first retrospective in France, with over 200 photos on show…The important thing to note is that many of the photos in the Diane Arbus retrospective have never been shown in France before. A great chance to see 50s and 60s New York as rarely shown by other artists; portraits of celebrities, children, nudists, fairground folk, transvestites, middle-class families, zealots, eccentrics, couples…The Diane Arbus retrospective is at the Jeu de Paume, place Concorde (here) from 18th October – 5th February 2012
