11th edition of the Moonlight summer film festival
from 3rd – 21st August 2011

Art and Culture

As if La Villette wasn’t enough for you all, here’s another festival with free outdoor film showings on offer. However, this one is slightly novel, as it moves from place to place each night! Intrigued? Read on…
During the month of August, the le Forum des Images closes and their Cinéma au clair de lune festival keeps us supplied with French films while they get all bronzed on the beach.

The concept is quirky, and we love it; show a doze or so films outdoors in Paris, setting up in a different place each night. You’ll have to be a French-speaker to get the most out of it (unless you fancy Victor, Victoria), but we think it’s a great way to see some French classics, discover parts of Paris you may not know, and enjoy a warm summer evening, all at once!

Here’s the programme. Click any film title for more details and the venue. All showings start 9.30pm:
