Free public transport for the night of 31st December
2011 in Paris. Time to paaartay!
If you’re hitting town for NYE in Paris, getting home doesn’t have to cost you an arm and a leg. Starting at 5pm on 31st December, the Paris tranport system is free, and a few lines will be running all night. Let’s do this thing!

Si vous sortez pour le Nouvel An, rentrer ne devrait pas forcément vous coûter cher ; À partir de 17h le 31 décembre, le métro est gratuit, et quelques lignes marcheront toute la nuit. C’est la fête !

Visit the places where Martin Scorsese filmed the movie Hugo in Paris
The Paris city council has an astounding 900 movie shoots to look after each year, and for the biggest projects they also prepare film trails so you can see where the movies were shot.
After Inception and Midnight In Paris, the latest film trail is for Martin Scorsese’s new movie, Hugo, and two of the locations just next to our hotels!

La mairie de Paris gère près de 900 tournages par an dans la capitale, et pour le films les plus importants, des ‘parcours cinéma’ sont préparés.
Après Inception de Christopher Nolan et Midnight In Paris de Woody Allen, c’est le nouveau film de Martin Scorsese, Hugo Cabret qui est à l’honneur, et deux lieux de tournage sont juste à côté de nos hôtels !

The Comédie-Française closes for a year and opens a temporary theatre in Palais Royal on 12th January 2012
The historic main building will be closed for a year to bring it up to today’s health and safety standards (including restoration of the glass roof, and a new lift for wheelchairs).
In the meantime a temporary wooden theatre has been constructed in the Palais Royal gardens just behind…
