Charléty-on-Snow 2011
from 26th December 2011 – 2nd January 2012

Xmas 2011 in Paris

Paris’ Charléty stadium becomes a snowy resort for the days between Xmas and New Year. A children’s icy paradise!

After the madness of Christmas, and before the well-meaning chaos of New Year’s Eve, your kids may just get a little bored in the city. If they’re between 3 and 17 years old, why not treat them to some snowy wonderment at the stade athlétique Charléty, generally a venur for Rugby matches (!), transformed for the holidays into a winter wonderland. Plus, it’s all free!

Here’s what’s in store:

- Rope slides
- Sledging
- « Snow garden » (not sure what they mean…)
- Kids merry-go-round
- Biathlon (!)
- Trampolines
- and – obviously – Wii games (???)

Mornings are reserved for the city’s use, so we mortals are allowed in from 1.30pm to 5pm. The activities are on until 6.30pm and accessible to people with reduced mobility.

And – once again – it’s all free!

Charléty-on-Snow (Charléty sur Neige) 2011 is at the stade Charléty (here) 26th December 2011 – 2nd January 2012 (unsurprisingly, closed 1st January).
