Tuileries Garden funfair until 19th August 2012

A traditional funfair right in the centre of the city. Here’s all the info.

The Tuileries Garden funfair tries to set itself apart from the others by remaining as traditional as possible, with rides like the wooden horse merry-go-round dating from 1900, bumper cars, and attractions such as the rifle shoot, hook-a-duck…

There’s also a big ferris wheel that gives an absolutely splendid view of Paris.

And one thing that really sets it apart? Amplification is banned here, so don’t expect pop hit blaring out from every stall. A pleasant change!

The Tuileries Garden funfair (here) is open every day of the week from 11am – 11.45pm (00.45am Fridays, Saturdays and the night before public holidays)
