The two Parisian sites of the Galerie Perrotin treat us to exhibitions from two major artists, “Last Seen” by Sophie Calle and “Body Loud” by Ryan McGinley.

Ryan McGinley presents around twenty large-format photos taken last summer. Full of colour (and nudity), it’s his first exhibition for the gallery.

Sophie Calle tackles the subject of stolen paintings. At the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston, the frames of paintings stolen in 1990 have been placed back where the paintings once hung. Calle has asked visitors to describe what they see in these ’empty’ spaces.

Another part of the exhibition asks guards and curators of collections from which works have been stolen to describe the works in question.
