The metro for the 13th & 14th July 2014

With the military parade, concert and fireworks at the Eiffel Tower, and the firemen’s balls, some stations will be closed on 14th July.

Here’s all the info…

First of all, the metro will be running an hour later than usual on the evenings of 13th and 14th July, making it easier to get home – the last train arrives at the last station around 2.15am.

For the military parade, some stations between Tuileries and Arc de Triomphe will be closed or partially closed.

Tuileries completely closed from 8am – midday.

Concorde completely closed from 7am – midday.

Champs-Elysées Clemenceau may be closed if it gets too busy.

Franklin D.Roosevelt remains open, but some exits will be closed.

One exit at George V will be closed but the station remains open.

Charles-de-Gaulle Etoile will only be accessible via Avenue Carnot from 8am – midday.

For the concert / fireworks, Trocadéro and Alma-Marceau will be completely closed from 7pm onwards, and Iéna will be closed from 11.30pm.

And don’t forget that Passy and Bir-Hakeim (Tour Eiffel) are closed anyway because of the work being done on the Passy viaduc (that you may have recognised in Inception).
