The Paris Big Parade on the Champs-Élysées
1st January 2016

If you’re not feeling too rough after NYE, you might like to pop down to the Champs-Élysées (shut to traffic) for the Grande Parade de Paris – the Paris Big Parade – with floats, jugglers and over a dozen marching bands.

Here’s all the info.

It’s the third edition of Grande Parade de Paris this Friday 1st January 2016 on the Champs-Élysées, organised by the Champs Elysées committee and Marcel Campion (he’s behind the big wheel on place de la Concorde too).

The parade will leave place de la Concorde in 2pm, and the show goes on until 4pm with numerous marching bands “from great American universities” (apparently), floats and acrobats.

An old-school event then, and harmless fun for all the family.
