With Photo Saint-Germain (the Saint-Germain photo festival) and Paris Photo both happening in November, it’s going to be a busy month for photo lovers in Paris.

Each year, Photo Saint-Germain brings together a selection of museums, cultural centres, galleries and bookshops across the 6th and 7th arrondissements of the Left Bank (i.e. all around our hotels), and the 2016 editions will see you calling in at the Institut du Monde Arabe, Delacroix MuseumIrish Cultural Centre, Hungarian Institut

In all, nearly 40 venues are taking part this year.

Perhaps one special event you might consider is a night for Robert Frank at the Christine 21 cinema on 12th November, with Patti Smith and Paolo Roversi in attendance.

The event celebrates the publications of Film Works by Steidl, a smart-looking DVD box set of the famous photographer’s films.

The Festival Photo Saint-Germain runs from 4th-20th November 2016
