The Saint-Germain-des-Prés Jazz Festival
until 22nd May 2017

Art and Culture

The jazz festival that gives the whole area around our hotels an extra zing is back!

Jazz à Saint-Germain-des-Prés has a whole host of concerts of course, but also special evening events, a section for upcoming talents, concerts specially tailored to children, jazz talks and more.

Here’s all the info.
Festival Jazz à Saint-Germain-des-Prés <br>jusqu'au 22 mai 2017Saint-Germain-des-Prés is the neighbourhood that really nurtured the development of jazz in France, so it’s only logical that it should be the venue for Paris’ biggest springtime jazz festival – Jazz à Saint-Germain-des-Prés – an event that will put a little spring in your step and get you tapping your toes just before the summer!

This year’s line-up is once again a mix of famous names and hotly-tipped new acts, with concerts being held in around twenty venues (you can check out the map here).

The festival also offers a few out-of-the-ordinary events, like a new piece from Hugh Coltman and a chance to chat with the artist, a gospel concert at the Saint-Sulpice church, and Anne Ducros with a symphony orchestra at the Université Panthéon-Assas.

There’s even a concert in a women’s prison just outside the city!

The full programme can be consulted at the bottom of this article.
