The 21st June sees a new retrospective of David Hockney’s work opening at the Pompidou Centre. In the meantime the Galerie Lelong is showing Hockney’s series of landscapes created on an iPad (as always) during a visit to the Yosemite National Park.
Here’s all the info.
The Yosemite Suite was created between 2010 and 2011. It is made up of 29 drawings created exclusively on an iPad and was inspired by Hockney’s visit to the Yosemite National Park in the USA.
Each drawing is a limited edition – 24 of them have been printed on standard paper, while five are larger and printed on four Dibond panels.
The gallery website doesn’t give any indication of prices, but looking costs nothing, right? Our money-saving tip is to get the catalogue (56 pages, 29 images, 20€), available here.
The Yosemite Suite by David Hockney is at the Galerie Lelong (here) from 30th May – 13th July 2017
Open Tuesday – Friday, 10.30am-6pm, and Saturdays 2-6.30pm
