AD Interiors 2017 at the Monnaie de Paris until 20th September 2017

Art and Culture

Ten interior designers have each created a concept room at the Monnaie de Paris for the 2017 AD Interiors exhibition, and there’s a huge bonus sculpture called The Droplet in the courtyard. 😐

Oh, and it’s super quick to get to from our hotels!

Here’s all the info.

The French edition of AD Magazine is getting the most out of Paris Design Week and launching the second edition of AD Intérieurs (AD Interiors) at the Monnaie de Paris.

Ten interior designers have each conceived and built a room based around one specific material, such as wallpaper, wood or leather, and the results are often extraordinary, like the rocky cabinet by Thomas Boog, the kitchen-living room by Isabelle Stanislas (strangely, the only woman taking part) and the panoramic boudoir by Oitoemponto.

You can see all the rooms in a presentation here.

Even if the ten rooms are not to your liking, you might like to pop into the courtyard at the Monnaie and take a look at the monumental sculpture there, called The Droplet.

The piece was commissioned by high-end perfumers The Harmonist and created by the artist Marcos Lutyens.

AD Intérieurs 2017 is at the Monnaie de Paris (here) until 20th September 2017

Open every day from 11am-7pm (9pm Thursdays)
