Organised in collaboration with the Tate Modern, the Picasso 1932 exhibition (subtitled ‘année érotique’ in French) at the Picasso Museum is the first to follow the painter every day over a year, from 1st January to 31st December 1932, an exceptional year for him, as you will see…

Here’s all the info.

For the first time, an exhibition invites you to follow the daily life of Picasso in order to get a glimpse of his extraordinary life as it was constructed, day by day.

1932 ois the year he painted his series of ‘baigneuses’ and an atypical crucifixion.

It’s also the year that Brassaï did a photo report at Picasso’s studio, and a year that saw two important exhibitions of his work organised in Paris and Zurich.

Also, as if to prove that his fame was reaching its first peak, the first volume of the catalogue raisonné of his work was published.

But what about the ‘erotic’ aspect of the exhibition. Well, it’s due in part to the fat that in a series of twenty-five paintings, he hid (but not very well)  sexual images. Will you be able to find them and giggle?

EXPOSITION PICASSO 1932 🎨 | Dans quelques jours, « Picasso 1932.
