Dame de Cœur lightshow at Notre-Dame, 8th-11th November 2017

Art and Culture

The four nights of this show seem to be sold out, and the official website is having a hard time coping with all its visitors, but it’s probably not too hard to go down to Notre-Dame and see a bit of the show from a distance.

Here’s all the info.

Commemorating the First World War, this show, split into seventeen sections, uses eight HD projections and rousing music to pay homage to the soldiers who perished.

The building has been scanned and mapped in 3D so that the images can be precisely superimposed on the architecture, seemingly giving the building even more depth. The animations are pretty impressive to see…

The show even continues inside the cathedral, with 80 more projectors and 400 candles, and while all the seats have been sold, the area around Notre-Dame is super close to our hotels – nothing’s stopping you from going down and getting a glimpse from afar.

The Dame de Cœur lightshow is at Notre-Dame (here) from 8th-11th November 2017

Sold out 😥
