Well, it’s shame that the app they’ve just released didn’t exist then!
Available on the App Store and Google Play, it opens with a quick explanation of how to use it, and then lets you simply point your phone camera at a stained glass window scene before giving you its name and a quick description of what’s depicted.
For the furthest away of the windows, the app can show them enlarged on your screen. You should also know that it’s completely free, and available in six languages (French, Italian, Spanish, German, English and even Chinese)!
To download the Vitraux Sainte-Chapelle app, click the button corresponding with your phone below.
Sainte-Chapelle (here) is open every day from 9.30am-6pm (5pm from 1st November-28th February), and until 9pm on Wednesdays between 15th May and 15th September
And apart from July and August, even though they’re open all day, there’s no entrance between 1pm and 2.15pm 😬
Closed 1st January, 1st May and 25th December
Admission: 10€ / 8€
