Do you prefer you coffee spilt over half your blouse, or with rabbit ears poking out of it? 😂
The gallery of the Hotel and Spa la Belle Juliette gives you the choice with its new photo exhibition of work by Maia Flore and Marc Sommer, both of whom seem to be intrigued by the surrealist and absurd.
Maia Flore photogrpahs herself, creating a skewed vision of the world with her photos that transfigure reality. After being part of the Circulation(s) Festival, Flore won the HSBC prize for photography in 2015.
Take a look at her photos and you will often see her floating through the air, or her face completely obscured by her perfect hair. A different world that you should explore…
Marc Sommer has also created a sort of world apart, made veen more fascinating by the fact that he doesn’t use digital retouching tools such as Photoshop at all. 😲 His photos are thus not only otherworldly but also enigmatic in both what they present and how they were created.
These two photographers will make you think and possibly laugh, and as always entrance is free!
Many thanks once again to our lovely friends at the Galerie Esther Woerdehoff, which represents the two photographers.
The Maia Flore and Marc Sommer exhibition is at the Hotel & Spa La Belle Juliette (here) until 8th December 2018
Open ever day, free, from 11am-10pm

• • • • #hotellabellejuliette #labellejuliette #room #roomwithaview #paris #saintgermain #hotel #4starshotel
