Dadinia Disasi Kenge, chambermaid a the Hotel les Dames du Panthéon tells us how she came to work at the hotel…
My name is Dadinia. I’ve worked as a chambermaid at the Hotel Les Dames du Panthéon for two years now.
I left my homeland, Angola, 22 years ago. I was a diamond salesperson. I left for Brazil initially, where I worked as a child-sitter. Two years later I went to live in Spain where I trained for a number of things, including being a carer. I stayed there for six years.
I arrived in France fourteen years ago. For twelve years I worked as an on-call chambermaid in several hotels before arriving at the Dames du Panthéon.
What I like the most about the hotel is the contact with the guests. I love meeting them, sharing my good mood and talking with them. I really like my colleagues too – they’re like my second family.
