The skiing season is officially open with the 5th edition of Saint-Germain des Neiges which is setting up shop on place Saint-Sulpice, turning it into a veritable winter playground!

All the activities (and there are lots of them) are free, and it’s just a few minutes away from our hotels!

Here’s all the info.
Get ready for a slightly surreal sight in the centre of Paris – for four days, the area around Saint-Sulpice is being transformed into a ski resort, with wood cabins, snow and more.

Numerous free activities are on offer, including a ski simulator, a sledging slope, cross-country skiing with its own laser shotgun range, a relaxation area (with an outdoor jacuzzi!), huskies to stroke…

If you’re not feeling sporty, there’s still plenty on offer – ski displays, traditional ski dishes at the food chalet and an après-ski village (actually the adjacent streets around the square) with live groups, comics, cocktail nights…

It’s also a great even for families – all the activities are free, and there are events to keep kids happy all day long, including tattoo workshops, giant snowball battles, quizzes… (check out the full programme at the bottom of this article).
