Peter Knapp – Dancing in the Street exhibition at the Docks, 9th March – 10th June 2018

Swiss photographer Peter Knapp is the star of this new exhibition at the Docks – Cité de la Mode et du Design, on the banks of the Seine, not far from our hotels!

With over a hundred photos on display, the majority of them previously unseen, you’ll be able to check out Knapp’s graphic, experimental take on fashion from the 1960s and 70s, a style that made his reputation.

Here’s all the info.

Peter Knapp’s photos made quite a splash in the 60s and 70s. Not only was he able to express the freedom and creativity that characterised the fashion of the era, but he also contributed to creating these style.

Working for the most influential Parisian fashion houses (Ungaro, Courrèges, Pierre Cardin, Yves Saint Laurent…) and all the top fashion magazines, Knapp constantly searched for innovative design to spark his wild imagination.

Ad if you want to see even more after leaving, some of Knapp’s images are also on display on the forecourt of the Gare de Lyon train station, just over the Seine, until 28th April 2018.
