The Magic of Christmas in the Tuileries Gardens until 6th January 2019

This event has been moved from the nearby Champs-Élysées to the Tuileries Gardens (for reasons that are too complicated to explain here), and although it’s a little smaller than before (120 chalets instead of 200), la Magie de Noël still has a big wheel and an ice skating rink, and promises that 80% of the products on sale are Made In France…

The organisers would like you to think that the event isn’t just a Christmas market, nor a funfair, but La Magie de Noël in the Tuileries Gardens looks suspiciously like both, with bumper cars, a 50-metre high big wheel and numerous chalets selling handmade items (mostly French) like these, er, absolutely charming paintings done on feathers. ?

Whatever you want to call it, the surroundings are spectacular, plus there’s a 100-metre long ice rink (1.200m²!), a twenty metre high Christmas tree, free puppet shows for kids and of course Father Christmas himself, just waiting for his selfie with YOU!

The event is just next to the Louvre and our neighbour the Musée d’Orsay, so there’s a fair chance you’ll be in the area at some point. Go check it out!

La Magie de Noël aux Tuileries here continues until 6th January 2019

Open every day from 11am-midnight (1am Fridays and Saturdays)
