"Egypt’s Sunken Treasures" (Tresors engloutis d’Egypte) exhibition at the Nef Grand Palais in Paris from 9 December 2006 to 16 March 2007
Some 500 spectacular pieces discovered during Franck Goddio’s underwater excavations, thanks to the Hilti Foundation, will be presented at the Grand Palais nave and retrace the history of Egypt from the last Pharaohs to Alexander the Great, from the Hellenic conquests to the Roman Empire, and from the Christian era to the rise of Islam.

VU’ exhibition at the Musée d’Orsay in Paris from 5 December 2006 to 31 July 2007
The VU’ agency suggested giving a free hand to five of its greatest photographers: Gabriele Basilico, Rip Hopkins, Richard Dumas, Juan Manuel Castro Prieto, Stanley Greene. They have each photographed one particular aspect of the Museum – its architecture, staff, collections and its public. Their work will be shown in the Museum, in four exhibitions.
