When you think of the Quai Branly Museum near our hotels, known for its ethnic collections, you don’t necessarily think immediately of paintings.

This new exhibition – Paintings From Afar – might surprise you then. It’s the first time that the museum has put on show its collection of paintings, with more than 130 presented, revealing the evolution of the Western perception of distant and not-so-distant populations, societies and territories over the centuries.

Here’s all the info.
