What's more, it was formed 13.7 billion years ago. The probability of existence of intelligent lifeforms is immense...
A So why haven't they contacted us yet?

Is this a sign that we are definitively alone in the Universe, and that life on our little blue planet is just an accident, a quirk of fate? Each day on Earth, we discover mew species that live in extreme conditions: in acidic environments, at the bottom of the ocean with no light, or at extremely high or low temperatures...

If life is possible on Earth for these « extremophiles », it must also be possible in our solar system, even beyond.

The science which deals with these questions is called «exobiology». It is the study of the origins of life on Earth and the search for traces of life or other lifeforms elsewhere than on Earth. The exhibition « Alone in the Universe ? » presents the advances of this young, multi-disciplinary science which calls on astrophysics, astronomy, geology, chemistry, etc

ALONGSIDE THE EXHIBITION : a full immersion show in the new planetarium « Are we alone in the universe ? » and a widescreen film at the La Géode cinema « Roving Mars ».
