Jean-Baptiste Camille Corot (1796 – 1875) was a French landscape painter and printmaker in etching.
The Louvre presents his drawings, which he considered as the origin of art. Almost all of his drawings at the Louvre came from the Étienne Moreau-Nélaton Bequest of 1927.
