The Jardin des Plantes is a fascinating place, forever changing with the seasons.

However it is not just a garden; it also includes a zoo, a Mexican hothouse, a rose garden, an alpine garden and the huge Natural History Museum.

We were happy just to walk round and admire the flowers (late summer is the time for dahlias). We hope these photos give you an idea of the grandeur and beauty of the place.
