If you like photography, you'll like Paris Photo. With over a hundred different stands representing both publishers and over eighty international galleries, the event "offers a deep and broad view of the medium", according to the official press release. I think that means 'there will be lots of different things to see'.

This year, Italy is the special guest, and the third BMW prize will also be awarded (the theme being Water, the origin of life).

Vernissage (grand opening): Wednesday 14th November, 7pm - 10pm
Opening times: Opens at 11am, closes at 7pm (Sunday 18th), 8pm (Thursday 15th / Saturday 17th), 9pm (Friday 16th)
Entrance fee: 15 euros (7.50 euros for students and groups)
