It's not often we blow our own trumpet - the blog's not really about that - and of course we like to think our hotels are chic, without fishing for compliments. However, it's always nice when someone else tells us how much they like them too (as you often do in your e-mails and comments).

So we just wanted to mention quickly this new book, released this week, that includes lots of kind words about the Hôtel des Grands Hommes, with lovely photos by Sandrine Alouf. It includes both English and French text, so more or less everyone will be able to understand, and is published by Parigramme, an editor that specialises in books about our great city. Of course we're not the only hotel mentioned in the book, but we're always flattered that, despite the competition, people choose to come and stay with us rather than somewhere else. :-)
