The fountain at Saint-Sulpice gets a major cleanup - the photos and the film!

Although the nearby church is still being restored, the newly-cleaned fountain was unveiled on 13th February 2008

Built in 1847, the fountain is one of the most majestic in Paris (actually, it reminds me a lot of Rome), and was put on the square to replace another fountain which had been moved to the Marché Saint-Germain.
Although it is now looking extremely clean, the same cannot be said for the Saint-Sulpice church. It's been covered by protective scaffolding since 1999, although restoration work only started in summer of 2006. Hopefully, they should be finished by 2010!
