Stanley Kubrick exhibition at the Paris Cinémathèque from 23rd March – 31st July 2011

It’s their biggest exhibition of the year, a major event for the Cinémathèque française, celebrated with numerous special events; a complete retrospective of the master’s films (of course), but also a 300-page catalogue and the first ever DVD box set of all of his films… Time to learn all there is to know about Stanley Kubrick !

2010 Paris Film Festival from 3rd – 13th July 2010

After years of looking a bit weedy compared to Cannes (admittedly the biggest film festival in the world), the Paris Film Festival (otherwise knows as Paris Cinéma) seems to gain strength every year. For the 2010 edition there will be some high-profile guests (Jane Fonda – now 72!, M. Night Shyamalan, French actor Louis Garrel…) pre-release showings (Toy Story 3D…), re-releases with new prints (Once Upon a Time in the West…) and loads of other events like the movies garage sale and Les Traversées de Paris – adventure trails through the city to help you learn about its links with the movies.
