Biography
Sacha Goldberger was born in 1968. His father was from Normandy and his moth Hungarian. He was raised in an atypical family where nobody did anything in the standard way. After a failed career as a super hero, he went on to be a rock star, Spongebob Squarepants and the President of France, before becoming - age 21 - a creative director with CLM BBDO in the agency of Philippe Michel.
He remained a creative director for ten years before becoming a photographer.
In January 2003 - to win back the 2,458th woman of his dreams, he made a book of his photos for her, cutting out and sticking the photos in a rough book called “Simply, I Love You” (Je t'aime tout simplement) published by Seuil in 2003 (130,000 copies sold worldwide).
In 2004 he published "Bye-Bye Mon Amour" with Guillaume Gamain (once again with Seuil).
Over the last five years, Clairefontaine has developed various products based on the books (postcards, notebooks, diaries, pencil cases, bags...)
In May 2007 "Made in Love" was published (by Hoebeke)
Sacha is currently finishing his project of photos of his grandmother Mamika which will be published by Balland in September 2010 under the title "Mamika, grand small grandmother”. In parallel he has done fashion shoots for Elle, WAD and Dealer Deluxe as well as photos for brands such as Marchand d’étoile, Nicorette Peugeot, Rhodia, Stihl, Sushi West, Symio, Smart and Viking.
