efifel, efefil, ilefef, felefi, leffie, fileef, feleif... park The salon of the Eiffel Park is a place with perfect coherence and unity. Warm and welcoming, it imposes its stylish difference compared with the neighbouring rooms. Slightly dimmed, the lighting is calm studied, as if it had had an age to rest in the deep creases of the leather sofas. No photo, with its parallel and perpendicular lines, can capture this total harmony. To choose just one corner would be so simplistic. Jealous, I wanted to break up this unity, play shadow against light, break up the smooth curves of the wooden frames and imperial taffeta, challenge the volume of the four protecting walls with the sharpest of angles. Even if I can't express the beauty of the coherence by reproducing it faithfully, let me at least suggest it by showing some tiny pieces through a kaleidoscope. |
