We told you that La Belle Juliette would be a place of culture, and while we wait for the restored piano to be delivered, here's the first event, a mini-concert by Claire Galo-Place, an amazing, classically-trained harpist. With these monthly concerts we hope to recreate a little of the ambience of Juliette Récamier's salons.

It's not an age-old war, but rather the sign of the difficulty that composers have to marry the styles of these two wide-ranging, polyphonic instruments, with their many similarities and differences. To hear how they can be put together, you have to look to transcriptions of orchestral pieces…

In the city of love, Saint Valentine's day can quickly become a mushy cliché-fest, and we think that you can do better than that ! Here are our tips for making sure that you and loved one have the best, most voluptuous and different day ever !
