Paris makes entrance free to more parks and gardens

Springtime in Paris….

Paris is a beautiful city to walk around; a good stroll will show you many beautiful buildings and cost you nothing (apart from a coffee here or ther to warm you up!). Although a compact city, there are some excellent (and large) parks and gardens to see as well. However, some still have an entrance fee for either the whole space or certain parts.

Now, just in time for Spring, the Paris council has removed this entrance charge from five more parks and gardens, meaning you can see even more for nothing! These include the hothouse at Auteuil (Paris 16e) , the special kids garden in Les Halles, the “Paris Farm” and Arboretum de l’Ecole Du Breuil , both in the Bois de Vincennes, and the “Maison de l’Air” in the great Parc de Belleville.

Apparently they are also looking into whether to continue charging entrance for the Parc Floral and Bagatelle park…
