Ganesh Festival 2007

Whether you were there, or couldn’t make it, here are our photos and a quick film.

It was a great parade with hundreds of coconuts being smashed on the road in front of the procession, symbolising the offering of one’s heart to Ganesha.

Each year the size of the parade increases, and everyone seems happy to be there. It’s a great event visually, with a good mix of people.

And here’s our quick film of the coconuts being broken!

Another 5-minute film can be seen here. See you in 2008, Sunday 7th September, for the next Ganesh Festival in Paris!
